Valve control units in refineries are usually pretty clunky industrial looking items, all function and no form. The aesthetics, if any is an accidental afterthought. Here, they wanted to make an impact. The client had spent a couple of years developing new features and technology to be incorporated into their new product and really wanted to accent their new technology and stand out in the industrial valve market. A bold new design language was developed for a family of products to achieve that.

The multi-piece modular design allowed for customized solutions including options such as a user interface, wireless communication and auxiliary inputs for future options.

Most industrial valves are plain grey; here their corporate colors were expressed to reinforce the brand identity in promotional pieces and installed at location.
